HELP! It’s almost time for Big Wednesday and we are looking for more volunteers! If you are high school age or above and interested in helping, we will be meeting after church on Sunday, January 13 in the FH basement. Please let us know if you can attend by contacting the church office. If you have questions or are unable to attend please see Rob or Jill Siebert.

Big Wednesday resumes on January 16 from 6-7:30pm.

You are invited to a baby shower for Garrett & Emily LeVault as they look forward to the coming arrival of their first child. Please stop by anytime on Saturday, January 19 9-11:00am in the FLC. All men and women are invited. If you are able attend please call or text Shea Campanella or contact the church office.

One of our goals this year is to do an overall evaluation of our church’s ministry. We would like to invite you to fill out a SWOT survey found at the welcome tables and at mtpulaskicc.org/swot19. We want to hear from you what you believe are our Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats. We would like to have these back either in the offering plate or church office by Sunday, January 27 and encourage you to fill them out online. Thank you!

Congregational update will be Sunday, January 27 during both services. At the end of each service we will be voting on (1) Mark Belley as elder, and (2) the proposed by-laws.

There are copies of the proposed changes to the by-laws at the welcome tables.  Please feel free to pick one up and contact one of the elders, Mark or Casey if you have any questions. The elders will host a “Coffee with the elders” on Thursday, January 31 at 6:30 pm if you’d like to come and ask questions, give feedback about the by-laws (or anything else, for that matter), or for prayer. We will meet in the room across from Mark’s office in the Sanctuary building.

The annual church leadership conference at Lincoln Christian University will be Saturday, February 16 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. This year’s speakers are Gene Appel and Chuck Sacket. Gene is the senior pastor of Eastside Christian Church in Anaheim, CA. Chuck serves on the preaching team of Madison Park Christian Church in Quincy, IL. The theme is “Leading a Mission Ready Church”.  You may register online lincolnchristian.edu/churchleaders.   Cost is $35 if you register before Feb. 11 (or $40 after).
