New Woman’s Ministry!

We are starting a new Woman’s Ministry! We’re kicking things off with the IF:Gathering on June 3 from 8:30am - 5:00pm. At the Gathering we’ll look at one of the most influential generations that have ever lived - the early church. The way God moved though them was simple and pure. We believe they are the model we need right now. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. The event is free! Find out more information and register at You can also check box #2 on your communication card to register. Questions? Contact Shea Campanella at 217-828-2250.

This effort is to continue assisting those children that were enrolled in the school’s free lunch program. Please pick up a copy of the items needed on the welcome tables. Your food items may be returned to the MPCC Office (M-F 9am to 4pm). Monetary donations are also appreciated. Please make checks payable to the Children’s Summer Food Program. The Women’s Sunday School Class is starting a new Bible study on the book of James. Please join us!

Starting June 7, 7:30-8:15 pm, we will be beginning a Wednesday evening service called “Refresh”. This is designed to provide an alternative for those who are unable to make it on Sunday morning as well as to provide a mid-week opportunity to be refreshed and refocused though worship. It will be a streamlined, more informal service than a Sunday morning service. For more details, or to find out how you can be involved, please see Tracy Dyer at
