Orientation Class

Mark will be offering an Orientation class for anyone interested in learning more about MPCC starting THIS Sunday morning, October 22 at 9:45 a.m. This is designed for newer attendees and members, but anyone is invited. It will run for 3 consecutive Sundays (October 22, 29, and November 5). If you cannot make all the sessions, Mark will have handouts available for the ones you miss. Please let the church office know and Mark will contact you about more information and a location.

Trunk or Treat

Trunk or Treat – This year there will be a community wide trunk or treat on the square October 28 from 4-7:00 p.m. There will be hayrack rides, games (including a cake walk), trunk judging, costume judging, carved pumpkin judging, hotdogs, chips. Come trick-or-treating around the square! To register a trunk, please go to Mt. Pulaski Trunk-or-Treat 2017 on Facebook. Sign up your trunk by October 22. Call the church office for more details.

Messy People

MESSY PEOPLE is a monthly support group open to any “messy” men or women (age 18+) who desire a more peaceful home environment. Sarah Tierney (LPC) will primarily be teaching organizational techniques (borrowing often from the KonMari Method), as well as adding various socio-emotional interventions as needed to reduce the chaos in your home. Our next class meets on Sunday, October 29 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. in the church library (across from the church office). If interest continues, we’ll plan on meeting the last Sunday of each month for a full year. Contact Sarah Tierney at stierney.lpc@gmail.com or 671-9032 to sign up.

Questions People Ask Series

This month, October, continues a sermon series on “Questions People Ask”. These messages are based on questions submitted by you this past summer. Some questions which were submitted will not be addressed in a message, but will be addressed in written form. Mark will be bringing the messages unless otherwise designated.
