MPCC Missions Team

The MPCC missions team headed to Uganda will be hosting a Fundraiser Bags Tournament on Saturday, June 24 from 2-6 p.m. at the Mt. Pulaski East Park. If interested please see the flyers for more information. Registration forms can be found on the welcome tables in the FLC.

Uganda Kids Choir

The Ugandan Kids Choir will be with us THIS Sunday, June 25 during both the 8:30 and 10:45 services. The children in the Ugandan Kids Choir are known for their musical talents and their joyful performances. They sing traditional African songs, play authentic African instruments, and dance in their colorful African attire.

The Choir is a ministry of Childcare Worldwide, which has been devoted to empowering children in the developing world since 1981. Childcare Worldwide serves children in nine developing countries by taking care of their physical, spiritual, and educational needs.

By coming to this event, you will enjoy traditional African song and dance, as well as help support children in need all around the world. Be sure to invite your family and friends!

Sermon on the Mount

”Do not Judge.” “Cut off your hand and gouge out your eye.” “You are the salt of the earth.” Huh? These and many other teachings are in the Sermon on the Mount. Mark Weber and Tad Blacketer will be co-leading a series of group discussions on Matthew 5-7 starting June 25 during the 9:30 a.m. Sunday School hour. We will meet for 7 weeks each Sunday. There will be handouts available each week. Please let the church office know if you are interested.

Thuper Duper Thursday

Thuper Duper Thursday (for all 1st - 5th graders) is back! Join Mr. Siebert in the FLC for game time each Thursday from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Dates we will meet: June 29, July 6, 13, 20, 27, August 3, 10. For further information contact Rob Siebert or the church office.


NEXT Wednesday, June 28, 7:30-8:15 pm, we will be having an evening service called “Refresh”. This is designed to provide an alternative for those who are unable to make it on Sunday morning as well as to provide a mid-week opportunity to be refreshed and refocused though worship. MPCC Father/Son Canoe & Camping Trip

MPCC Father/Son Canoe & Camping Trip - Friday, June 23 - Sunday, June 25 at Living Waters Camp, Camdenton, MO. Informational meeting will take place NEXT Sunday, June 11 after church in the FLC conference room. Please fill out the information card located on the welcome tables and return to the church office. Community Children’s Summer Food Program

The Community Children’s Summer Food Program in conjunction with the community will be providing non-perishable food items to families. This will supplement the children’s nutritional needs through the summer months of June, July, and August. This effort is to continue assisting those children that were enrolled in the school’s free lunch program. Please pick up a copy of the items needed on the welcome tables. Your food items may be returned to the MPCC Office (M-F 9am to 4pm). Monetary donations are also appreciated. Please make checks payable to the Children’s Summer Food Program. Cash or checks may be mailed to Zion Lutheran Church or taken to Zion’s office.
