Questions People Ask Series

NEXT Sunday, September 24 continues a sermon series on “Questions People Ask”. These messages are based on questions submitted by you this past summer. Some questions which were submitted will not be addressed in a message, but will be addressed in written form. Mark will be bringing the messages unless otherwise designated.

September 24 What about angels, demons, and Satan?
October 1 Why do we need the Church?
October 8 Why do people suffer?

The Connecting Spot

The Connecting Spot is back!- The first one this fall will be Tuesday, September 19 at 11:30 a.m. in the FLC. For lunch we will have another scrumptious meal (Honey Teriyaki Chicken) from Ellen Weber, plus Kim (Oglesby) Martin and Rhonda Mattern will be bringing an update on our Parish Nurse Ministry. Of course, Mark will have some silly jokes, or games, or....whatever. Everyone is invited. We will be done by 1:00 p.m. Let the church office know if you plan to attend.

Messy People

MESSY PEOPLE starting Sunday, September 24th! A monthly support group open to any “mess” men or women (age 18+) who desire a more peaceful home environment. Sarah Tierney (LPC) will primarily be teaching organizational techniques (borrowing often from the KonMari Method), as well as adding various socio-emotional interventions as needed to reduce the chaos in your home. Come check it out on Sunday, Sunday, September 24 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the church library (across from the church office). If interest continues, we’ll plan on meeting the last Sunday of each month for a full year. Contact Sarah Tierney at stierney.lpc@gmail.com or 671-9032 to sign up.
