THIS Sunday, March 26 will be our day to thank Teresa for her 15 years of service to MPCC. We are planning a card shower and a potluck dinner 12:00 p.m. in the Family Life Center. Please let the office know if you will be attending. Fried chicken will be provided. Please bring a dish to share.

Spiritual Disciplines Retreat - Sacred Rhythms Retreat for Men and Women - March 24-26 at Little Galilee Christian Camp. Informational brochure and registration forms are available on the welcome tables.
Child Dedication Sunday will take place on April 2nd at the 10:45 a.m. service in the Family Life Center. On this Sunday we will call the families to the front of the church to be recognized and prayed for. We will also have a gift for you and your child. Please call the church office if you will be participating. Please send a digital photo to Parker Radecki at firstname.lastname@example.org by Sunday, March 26th. Please include: Child’s Full Name and birth date and parent names.
Next Sunday! Want to strengthen your marriage? A women’s marriage class will be meeting from 5-7pm in the MPCC Library on the following Sundays: Apr. 2, and May 14. Take your marriage from bad to better…or from good to great! ($10 suggested donation per night) Contact Sarah Tierney at or 217-671-9032 to sign up.
Starting April 2 Mark will be starting a discipleship group that will be studying the life of Jesus. It will be a 12-week study that meets Sunday mornings at 9:45 a.m. in the basement of the sanctuary building. Please let Mark or the office know for more information. The books will cost less than $10 and there will be some Bible reading reach week.
BIG Wednesday - 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. New Time! Students should check in at the FLC front entrance (114 N. Lafayette St.) at 6:00 p.m. Please pick up your children at the front entrance of the sanctuary building (115 N. Washington St.) at 7:30 p.m.
Wednesdays, January 25-March 15, 6-7:30 pm, based on the movie “Courageous.” The study is aimed at developing strong, godly men and fathers in the home, but is also helpful for women. Join our church as we learn what God requires of fathers as we got through Honor Begins at Home: The Courageous Bible Study - FLC (upstairs). Please let the church office know if you are interested in attending or would like more information.
**Run For God group meets Saturday mornings at 7:00 a.m. at the FLC. Everyone is welcome! We have a Couch to 5K group. We will have walkers and runners both so come on out and have some fun and fellowship as we work our way to a healthy 2017. Please contact Sarah Cooper 217-494-2668 with any questions and to also let her know if you need childcare.
It has been a while since we have updated the prayer chain SO we would like for you to sign up to begin to receive OR continue to receive prayer requests. Please let the church office know if you wish to sign up or want further information.
Studies show that the most important catalyst for spiritual transformation occurs when people talk about the Bible with other people. We have numerous opportunities both Sunday morning and Wednesday evenings. Feel free to try as many of these:
